Fans of "Game of Thrones" on HBO (I just got to see the first episode this evening and am a HUGE fan of the books...new one hits in July!) will recognize Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) starrring as Fin McBride in this wonderful flick. That was a huge sentence. Anyway, had heard about this one from the festival circuit a few years back and recognized Dinklage's name from this film when they cast him in "Game".
"The Station Agent" is a wonderful film about being different, fitting in, not fitting in, finding a place in spite of yourself. It's a story mostly about friendship and the need for compassion. It's a warm hearted romp and an ultimately sweet film. Check it out.
While I'm at it, I think it's remarkable how much Dinklage looks like my very good friend Brandon Slagle.
